To sum us up, we sell restaurant equipment parts, and we like to think that we do it well.  We have several highly knowledgeable sales reps that will help answer your questions, and offer great customer service from your first contact to after your purchase.

But we don’t want to stop at just parts, which is why we are going to be expanding our products offering to small wares, supplies, and professional tools such as knives and equipment.  We want to be everything our competitors wished they were; lower priced, and over appreciated.

A bit about the Company’s History

Western Equipment Sales is a business established by the Meares family over a decade ago to help meet the needs of Restaurants across the United States by offering replacement parts and supplies for brand name equipment such as Hobart, Vulcan, and over 100 others.

The food service industry is our passion.  We live to help restaurant owners, aspiring food service professionals, and industry repairmen find the quality parts, tools, and supplies they need, in a fast, efficient, and friendly way that sets us apart from our competitors in the industry.

Our Team

Wes Meares – Owner / Managing Partner

Wes Meares is a Tri-Cities WA native, who has over 17 years of experience in the restaurant industry.  He started Western Equipment Sales in 2003 and continues to be a go to person for the local restaurant industry.

When Wes isn’t working, he likes to spend time with family and his two dogs Cashus and Chloe.  He also is a huge supporter of the Richland High School Bombers Booster Club, and recently won an Award from Washington State in recognition for his time served.

 

Joel Kruse – Business Development Manager

Joel has over 14 years of sales and business to business experience, along with several years of experience in social media, internet marketing, and eCommerce development.  Having moved from Seattle to the Tri-Cities, Joel has learned to love the area and now calls it home. When Joel isn’t working, he enjoys playing guitar, spending time with his wife Crystal, fishing, camping and hunting in his spare time.  He also plays on the Men’s Softball team at his local church.
